Toot toot! Real estate generosity…

My wife gave the entire $10,000 incentive to her young first time military buyer. My first thought was, wow, how many Realtors would do that! Naturally, if we needed that money to pay our mortgage, it would be difficult to give it up. But Jennifer and I were in a situation for over four years where we didn’t know where the next meal was coming from. And we were still generous in those dark times. Real estate giving comes in different forms. Giving for us is a lifestyle.
There’s a difference between a Realtor begrudgingly giving up a portion of a commission to make a deal work, and a Realtor who cheerfully and willingly gives up $10,000 to help a young couple buy their first home and keep their payments low – despite having excellent credit and can afford much higher payments. Best part? Jennifer didn’t even tell the buyers. That’s how my wife Jennifer, an outstanding Realtor, rolls. Jennifer genuinely loves helping people and she loves selling real estate. So toot toot for you Mrs. Mims!
If you are a buyer or a seller, ask yourself, would your Realtor give up $10,000 for you?
