Access to the Naturewalk is via US Hwy 98 to Co. Hwy 395 south, or north from Co. Hwy 30-A. The subdivision comprises 289 lots. The lots are divided into three sections: Village Collection, Bungalow Collection and Cottage Collection. Phase I includes Village and Cottage collections.

Approximately 70% or so of the lots have been improved with most homes within phase I. The subdivision features underground utilities, water, sewer, gas, paved asphalt and paver private streets, sidewalks, and street lights. New building commenced in 2012 with numerous homes under construction.

 

Naturewalk has an HOA fee of $210 per month and a Community Development District (CDD) fee. By example, one property I was working on featured a CDD fee of $2,244 per year. Zoning is NBHD Development.

There is an onsite sales office. KLP Destin II LLC purchased most of the lots in 2010 for $3,165,000 as from the original developer Naturewalk Development Company LLC. A certificate of title from the original developer to KLP Destin II LLC was issued 6/29/2010. The builder is Kolter Homes LLC located in Palm Beach county Florida. Around eight different floor plans are offered.

 

Naturewalk at Seagrove comprises about 153 +/- acres. Home sites are surrounded by conservation easements and common area. Surrounding the 153 +/- acre master parcel itself is state forest land. The state forest land borders Naturewalk on the north, east, and south.

 

There is an area called “The Gathering Place”. This area features a beach entry pool, kids pool and playground. There are several BBQ grills, covered dining areas, and his and hers bathrooms. Access to the beach is about 1 mile south from the entrance to Naturewalk. Naturewalk features a long wooden bridge. Reportedly the longest in America. There is a seasonal private beach shuttle.

 

The master plan includes architectural Florida Cottage styles called the Village Collection and Cottage Collection. Village collection models include; Grayton, Sea Breeze, and Wind Song. Cottage collection models include Beachcomber, Sea Glass, Beachwind, Seagrove, and Wind Chime. The Florida Cottage style homes feature cement fiber exterior wall cladding and metal roof.
