Take these three steps when buying real estate:
- Choose an agent you like. You’ll be spending important time with them. (People like Jennifer.)
- Choose a brokerage that provides Logic and Reason. (People like my logic and reasoning.)
- Choose a brokerage who knows Price AND Value. (We are both appraisers and know price and value are not the same.)
I was driving up the road today and thought it was pretty cool that Jennifer is so awesome and people like her. She really is a special person. And those who are reading this blog and know Jennifer understand exactly what I’m talking about.
She’s my business partner. I’m grateful for our partnership because I don’t want to connect with people relationally in business. It’s really hard. And it’s not because I’m insensitive. In fact, it’s the exact opposite! I don’t want to connect because it’s too emotional. I get way too wrapped up in it. As a result, it can cloud judgment. That’s why I do not sell residential real estate.
On the other hand, commercial real estate is income driven. The numbers either work, or they don’t. Come to Papa.
I luuuuvvvv solving valuation problems. Love talking about real estate from an independent, impartial and objective standpoint. Love research. Love data. Remember my Red Sammy blog? Now that’s cool stuff. Folks really enjoy and appreciate raw honest data. And truthful supported interpretation of that data.
What do I love the most? Sorting out inconsistencies in data that a computer cannot.
Tell you what it means. Protect you by looking for the danger in the deal. So you make better real estate decisions and have a better life for you and your family. Now that’s freaking awesome!
